Rosé wine generally has the extraordinary characteristic of being able to be paired with almost any food, and can certainly be sipped under any circumstances.
Served chilled, at 8°-10° maximum, with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white and red meats, fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
Imagine it with roast squid, cannelloni with spinach, maltagliati with sea bass and courgettes, ravioli with monkfish, fillet with pink pepper, or fresh ricotta with honey, and walnuts.
The vine (Montepulciano d’Abruzzo) has found wide diffusion in Abruzzo and along the Adriatic coast. The variety is fairly homogeneous, the differential characters concern the shape of the bunch, the presence of green millerandage before maturation, the ripening time, and the organoleptic characteristics of the product.
It gives an intense ruby red colored wine, with a characteristic, vinous scent, dry, fruity, tannic, not acidic, of good body structure, velvety, rightly alcoholic.
