How to match
1967 Primitivo IGT Puglia

Serve it at 14°-16°, possibly in a nice wide glass, and always uncork it a few minutes before serving, so that it can show itself well and express itself at its best.

It is the perfect accompaniment for well-structured, flavorsome dishes and fragrant cheeses, but also with aperitifs, starters, vegetarian dishes, grilled meat or baked meats, and medium- and long-aged cheeses.

Imagine savory vegetable appetizers, asparagus risotto, lamb with potatoes, baked stuffed turkey or ricotta, and mushroom crêpe.

Characteristics of vine

Primitivo is a very ancient vine whose roots are to be found in southern Italy, particularly in the region of Apulia.

A demanding vine, particularly sensitive to hostile climates and mold, characterized by generous bunches with particularly sweet grapes and skins rich in anthocyanins, which give the wine an intense color.

These grapes, which are always covered with bloom to protect them from ultraviolet rays and excessive dehydration, find the ideal environment in Puglia to achieve excellent quality.
