Vinification
It originates from one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo for growing wine, from an old vineyard trained with the Tendon-system, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable thermal excursion and with a magnificent exposure.
A wine to be served chilled, at 6-8 degrees maximum with aperitifs, appetizers, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats, and fresh or medium-aged cheeses.
We imagine it with vegetables au gratin, rice salad, paccheri with squid and bruschetta, rolls with Colonnata lard.
Apex bud is open, cotton-like, green in color with lighter edges. Medium-sized, pentagonal, Penta-lobed leaves. V-shaped stalk base with overlapping lobes. Velvety underside. Very pronounced edges. Cluster: large, wide, pyramidal or conical, winged, moderately compact.
Berry: large, spheroidal, with thick and consistent velvety skin, with apparent umbilicus; juicy flesh with a neutral flavor. It gives wines of a deep straw yellow color, with a dry, full flavor and good acidity, to be drunk young or after short aging.
