Bakán
TREBBIANO D’ABRUZZO

DOC Organic

It originates from one of the most suitable areas of Abruzzo for growing wine, from an old vineyard trained with the Tendon-system, at an ideal altitude to ensure a formidable thermal excursion and with a magnificent exposure.

Vinification is carried out in conditioned cement tanks, followed by 4 months’ refinement, also in cement, before bottling in the total absence of oxygen.

Bakán
Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC Organic

The Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC of the Bakán line grows at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, from an over thirty-years-old vine in the Abruzzo pergola training system. The vine reflects itself in the Adriatic Sea and has a strategic south-south-east exposure.

This wine is a 100% Trebbiano d’Abruzzo DOC grapes, resulting from a strict manual selection of the bunches, from a harvest in the second half of September from certified organic farming.

Vinification is carried out in conditioned cement tanks, followed by 4 months of refinement, again in cement tanks, and then bottled in the total absence of oxygen.

Technical Sheet

How to match
Bakán Trebbiano D’Abruzzo DOC

A wine to be served cold, at a maximum of 6-8 degrees, with aperitifs, hors d’oeuvres, seafood, vegetarian dishes, white meats, and fresh or medium-aged cheeses.

We imagine it with a tuna tartare, rocket and prawns paccheri, chicken with peppers, but also a simple Caprese.

Characteristics of vine

It gives a straw-yellow colored wine, with a light scent of flowers, slender in body, lively acidity, quite sapid, and good drinkability.

The variety population is fairly homogeneous apart from the presence of a pronounced round grape in some biotypes and the shape of the bunch, which may or may not fork out at the tip.

Apex bud is semi-open, fluffy texture, white with golden highlights. Leaves: large, pentagonal, tri-lobed, blistered, under the page of the leaf, present fluff.
