Vinification in thermo-conditioned steel tanks is followed by malolactic fermentation and subsequent maturation for 6 months in cement tanks before bottling in the total absence of oxygen.

Elegant, pleasant, and fruity at the same time. Fine and intense, with soft tannins and an enveloping and persistent bouquet.

In the area of Martinsicuro, in the province of Teramo, from a vine that is almost fifty years old, at an altitude of 290 meters above sea level, extraordinarily exposed to the south-south-east, comes the Montepulciano d’Abruzzo DOCG of the 4 Venti line.
100% Montepulciano d’Abruzzo grapes, manually selected from the rows and harvested around the second ten days of October, from certified organic farming.
Vinification occurs in thermo-conditioned steel tanks. At the end of malolactic fermentation, the wine will rest in cement tanks for at least 6 months, then age in large 50hl oak casks for the next 18 months, and age in bottles for no less than 6 months.

The vine (Montepulciano d’Abruzzo) has found wide diffusion in Abruzzo and along the Adriatic coast. The variety is fairly homogeneous, the differential characters concern the shape of the bunch, the presence of green millerandage before maturation, the ripening time, and the organoleptic characteristics of the product.
It gives an intense ruby red colored wine, with a characteristic, vinous scent, dry, fruity, tannic, not acidic, of good body structure, velvety, rightly alcoholic.
