Manual selection of grapes lately harvested between October, the 20th and the 30th, in a 35 old vineyard in Controguerra with optimal exposure and low yeld. The terroir gives the grapes the best thermal excursions that, together with organic techniques of cultivation and aging, enhances the aromatic sensations typical of Montepulciano grapes. Bakan DOCG represent one of the most balanced expression of red wines from Abruzzo.

The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks thermo-conditioned and after the malolactic fermentation it ages in wood barrels (50 hl) for 8/10 months and then in bottle for at least 6 months.

Color: Brilliant and ruby red

Nose: Nice and persistent fruitness, with notes of vanilla and dry fruit

Flavour by Mouth: Soft, armonic, round and full bodied, Bakan DOCG is perfect with any meat dish from cheese to first courses, from pizza to grilled meat. Bakan DOCG is also lovely with traditional dishes like arrosticini.
